We met in '03 at a grocery store we were working at for the summer in Austin, TX. The poor guy could barely get two words out, let alone his name. But we don't tell that story, we tell a made up one about him putting the moves on me in the sugar aisle. It's sweeter.
We dated for years, like 6 of them (or seven?), actually maybe it was five, and finally got married in December '09. In February '10 we decided that this would be the year we wanted to start a family. The next day I was knocked up, and thus began the journey of the three of us. The same job that took Pittman to Dallas eventually brought him East. Texas, that is. We packed up our dogs and my shoes and headed for life in the country.
I originally started this blog to connect with friends and family that we don't get to see very often. It pleases me to see that perfect strangers also enjoy reading it. I share our pictures, stories, and sometimes wildly inappropriate anecdotes. I'm think I'm funny, I tend to be sarcastic, and I like to curse. A lot. I often express my opinion and sometimes stick my foot in my mouth. If you don't agree with me, or enjoy my writings there are many other blogs that I'm sure you will enjoy.
