Bio

Pittman is one of three boys and hails from San Antonio, TX.  I'm sure he spent most of his childhood playing with Lego's and beating whatever video game boys played in the early 90's.  By the time I got a hold of him, he was bassist in punk band.  He told me he was studying to be a rocket scientist but that he was actually planning on becoming a rockstar.  He did not end up a rockstar.  Other than being the best husband ever, and soon to be daddy, he awakes at the crack of dawn and works hard to support our little family.  That's right people.  He's Batman.

I am the youngest of three girls and Austin, TX is where I call home.  Although I haven't lived there in quite sometime, not a soul could convince me that a greater city exists.  Yes, I am one of those people.  I've got friends scattered throughout, so it is not odd that I spend as much time as I can gallivanting across the Great State.  I've studied early childhood development and have spent most of my adult life caring for other peoples children.  I'm certain that there's a pretty good chance that I won't screw mine up, as the damage has probably already been done to the others.  I love to craft, start projects, and cook and bake.

Our dogs are our children.  We treat them like family and could not imagine not having them.  Broozer is an 8 year old shi-tzu/lhasa apso mix who, um, bites people.  He used to be extremely sweet but as he's gotten older he has become less tolerant.  Unfortunately, he's munched on pretty much everyone we know so we pretty much keep him away from civilization.  Other than the whole biting thing, he really is an obedient, well behaved dog.  I more attached to him because I've had him since he was 6 weeks old and I feel like he's been through everything with me over the last 8 years.  He's my special doggie.
Jojo.  Oh, Jojo.  We got Jojo in the summer of '09 and she has made life quite interesting.  She is a sweet as can be, loves attention, and slightly psychotic.  I thought she'd be the perfect companion for Broozer, since he needed a dog that was not going to be a threat to him.  If he could talk he'd probably say that his life was just fine without her.  Really though, we love her.  She chews on almost everything, keeps us up at night, is terrified of thunder, and a sock thief.  We're hoping with consistent discipline she will eventually grow out of these habits.  Maybe.  *Crossing our fingers*
