Can you believe she's almost a year old?
I cannot.
We are four days shy of the big day and I can't seem to understand that. I just can't. I still feel like such a kid. We have not planned on having a party for lots of reasons. We don't live near any family and many of our close friends so it really wouldn't be the party we want for her. But honestly, we aren't just the first birthday party giving type of people. I want her to remember her first party. I happen to think I throw pretty fab parties and I don't know if I could keep it up every single year! TRUST, when I say I know I am the exception and NOT THE NORM in this situation. I know lots of ladies who are busy planning first birthday parties and, for now, I'll live vicariously through you :)
We will certainly be celebrating our Lily Lady this week in our own way. Lots of spoiling and cake smashing and quality time with her before she turns 15. Which seems like it'll be next year.
